Work

Visual artists and writers use the facilities available at Can Serrat as a base for both group and individual activities.  Can Serrat has a variety of interior and exterior spaces in which to work and gather for discussion with new friends.  Residents are invited to partake in the friendly nature of a working community of artists, while drawing inspiration from the Catalan hills and the nearby city of Barcleona.

Can Serrat was founded in 1988 by a group of 12 Norwegian artists. Their primary purpose was to create an exciting working and living space for themselves and others.  Though much has happened over the years, our philosophy remains the same.
